December 19, 2002 — One lucky Noise Therapy fan is having an especially happy holiday this year. After the band's show with Otep in Dallas, Texas last week (December 11), guitarist Kai spent some time talking with a newly converted fan about playing guitar. The conversation ended with an interesting twist when Kai decided to give the fan -- Brian Chambers -- his custom made Washburn guitar, which was designed for him while he was touring with Methods of Mayhem on Ozzfest 2001.

What prompted the generosity? "The kid reminded me of myself when I was younger and just starting to play the guitar," says Kai. "I thought it would've been really cool if someone would have done the same for me when I was younger." Noise Therapy -- Dave Ottoson (vocals), Bobby James (drums), Kai (guitar), Rob Thiessen (bass) and James F (keyboards) -- are on tour with Otep through December 21 in support of their Tension CD (Redline Entertainment). More tour dates will be announced in early 2003.
