Alicia Keys Announces Solo US Tour 2002

Hot on the Heels of Five American Music Award Nominations and Eight Billboard Award Nominations

December 5, 2001 – Alicia Keys, the artist Rolling Stone named "Artist of the Year" will begin first national solo tour January 22, 2002 in Boston, MA at the Oakdale Theater. The singer/songwriter who produced and arranged her entire debut album Songs in A Minor has had a stellar year with a debut album recently certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA. The New York native has spent much of the last month in Europe releasing her album internationally and is currently in rehearsals for her performance at the 2001 Billboard awards and her solo tour.
