Coldplay Announce 2003 Tour Dates

Coldplay have confirmed the first leg of their North American tour (see dates below).
Plans are also being made for a May/June second leg of North American dates. In addition to
their 2003 headline tour, Coldplay will return to the States next month for a run of major market
Christmas radio shows and a December 16 performance on "Late Show with David Letterman."
Coldplay's sophomore album A Rush of Blood to the Head debuted #5 on Billboard's
Top 200. The release also entered the chart at #1 in 12 countries around
the globe including Canada, Germany, Australia and the United Kingdom, as well as making the Top 10 in
five additional countries. Coldplay's 2000 debut album, Parachutes, sold 1.3 million copies in the U.S. (5
million worldwide), was awarded the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album and spawned
the international hit singles "Yellow" and "Trouble."
