November 27, 2001 – Starsailor will release Love Is Here (Capitol Records) January 8 in the U.S. Produced by Steve Osborne (U2, Doves, New Order), Love Is Here debuted #2 on the UK albums chart and includes the band's Top 20 U.K. singles "Fever" and "Good Souls," as well as their current and first Top 10 single, "Alcoholic." The new CD prompted Q magazine to award Starsailer with their 2001 award for Best New Band.

Starsailor's first U.S. tour kicks off December 2 in Boston and includes six major market headline club dates; the band's visit to the States will conclude with a Tuesday, December 11 live performance of their first U.S. single "Good Souls" on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." On the eve of their album release, Starsailor will return to New York City for a January 7 performance on "Late Show with David Letterman," followed by a 13-city North American tour in support of the Charlatans.
