Col. Parker to Headline the Exotic Erotic Ball
November 28 at Webster Hall

Five Entertainment Stages Include Acrobatic Troupe Antigravity, "Stuttering" John Melendez, Burlesque Performers Dita Von Teese and D'Lish, Chi Chi Valenti and more.

November 19, 2001 – Col. Parker, a new band fashioned out of rock icons, will headline the first-ever New York Exotic Erotic Ball on Wednesday, November 28 at Webster Hall (125 E. 11th St.). The band will join celebrity hostess Joanie Laurer (formerly Chyna on WWF and Playboy's Jan. 2002 covergirl) on one of the five stages at the Exotic Erotic Ball. Manhattan "Empress"ario Chi Chi Valenti will emcee the show and Howard Stern's "Stuttering" John Melendez will make an appearance.

Perry Mann, founder and producer of the Exotic Erotic Ball, says "If you like music, we have great musicians, but we also have acts out of the ordinary. You have to see them to believe them." For example, Dita Von Teese and D'Lish dance inside giant champagne glasses, while Eveline Darroch (aka Kaotika du Flambeau) combines belly dancing and contortion with a flaming sword balanced on her forehead. Acrobatic group Antigravity perform daredevil stunts and aerial somersaults set to music.

The annual San Francisco Exotic Erotic Ball is a tradition that attracts more than 15,000 people each year. Past performers in San Francisco include Sugar Ray, Chris Isaak, Jefferson Starship, Joan Jett, and Grace Jones. Described as "an erotic Cirque du Soleil," the Exotic Erotic Ball is a non-stop entertainment extravaganza featuring world-renowned talent, celebrity guests, exotic performers, wild sideshows, fetish acts and playful interactive fun for everyone.

Col. Parker recently released their debut record Rock 'n' Roll Music on the V2 label, but it's not a debut record for the "back to basics" rootsy rock-n-roll band. The members include Gilby Clarke of Guns 'n' Roses; Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats; Muddy Stardust of LA Guns and keyboardist Teddy Andreadis.

For the first time this year, the Exotic Erotic Ball will become a national affair. In addition to the annual San Francisco Ball, New York (November 28th) and Los Angeles (December 31st) will host the Exotic Erotic Ball. In 2002, the Exotic Erotic Ball will appear in over 20 domestic markets as "The Exotic Erotic Balls Across America Tour," and will expand internationally to London, Paris, Madrid, Rio and more.

Also in the works for the Exotic Erotic Ball are Pay Per View specials, International Video Distribution, a cable TV series, and a new line of upscale merchandise titled Amorotica.

Early Ball tickets to the Exotic Erotic Ball are available for $45 at Webster Hall, Ticketmaster outlets (212/307-7171), and on www.exoticeroticball.com. For more information on the New York Ball, call the hotline at 212-592-0938.
