Nine Inch Nails Set New Release Date
October 31, 2001 Grammy-award winning Nine Inch Nails will release Nine Inch Nails Live: And All That Could Have Been, January 22, 2002. The project will be available in three formats: CD, DVD, and VHS. The release documents the band's sold-out "Fragility v2.0" concert tour, which was voted Best Tour of 2000 by Rolling Stone magazine. The live CD was produced by Trent Reznor and features NIN songs such as "The Wretched," "Head Like a Hole," "Wish," "Closer," "Starfuckers, Inc.," and "Hurt." The DVD/VHS was shot, edited and produced digitally.
The new release date is attributed to production delays in the DVD mastering process.
The CD contains sixteen songs and is the first live album from NIN. A limited-edition version of the CD will include a special bonus disc containing select NIN songs recorded live in a deconstructed fashion, as well as some brand new material.
The DVD/VHS contains eighteen songs that recreate the Fragility concert experience from beginning to end, using video footage collected over the course of the U.S. tour.
