Snoop Dogg Signs to MCA Records Worldwide
Artist Also Inks Label Deal for Doggy Style Records
October 30, 2001 One of hip hop's most popular artists, Snoop Dogg, signed to MCA Records. In addition to signing as an artist, the agreement brings Doggy Style Records into the MCA Records fold for marketing and distribution. Doggy Style's current roster includes
heavy-hitting artists such as Kokane, La Toiya Williams, Soopafly and E-White.
MCA Records agreed to both release the albums and produce companion films starring each of Doggy Style's artists. The releases will go direct to
home video outlets through Snoopadelic Films.
