October 24, 2001 – The Donnas were involved in a car accident Oct. 22 in Boulder, Colorado, leading them to cancel the four remaining dates of their U.S. tour. The Donnas were returning from a photo shoot for a book by David Raccuglia benefiting the Red Cross in the wake of Sept 11, when another car struck theirs, breaking the windows and causing minor injuries to Donna R. and Donna F. All four Donnas received medical attention and are fine, although Donna R. had stitches to the face, and Donna F. sustained neck and back injuries. The remaining shows of their second U.S. tour behind their January release, The Donnas Turn 21, have been cancelled to allow the girls to recuperate and heal. The cancelled shows were to have been in Ft. Collins, Denver, Las Vegas and Albuquerque.
