Mudvayne Lands Spot on Merry Mayhem Tour with Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Zombie

Mudvayne to Reissue 1997 EP and Release First Full-length DVD

October 19, 2001 – Mudvayne join rock icons Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Zombie on the Merry Mayhem tour, starting Halloween night in Tucson, AZ (see complete itinerary below).

In addition to landing this spot, November 20, Mudvayne will reissue their out-of-print 1997 EP The Beginning of All Things to End, formerly known as Kill I Oughtta. The EP includes interludes from their current gold-certified debut L.D. 50, plus bonus remixes of "Dig" by Front Line Assembly's Rhys Fulber. Mudvayne will also release their first full-length DVD, "L(ive) D(osage) - Live in Peoria" on December 11. The DVD will include more than 90 minutes of live performance, behind-the-scenes footage, and a bonus director's cut of their video, "Death Blooms."

The Peoria, IL foursome recently won the first ever MTV2 Viewer's Choice Award at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. Visibly humbled by receiving this mark of recognition from their fans, Mudvayne accepted the Moon Man while sporting blood-splattered tuxedoes [photo]. The band's "Dig" DVD single was the #1 selling DVD in the country and certified gold within a month of release.
