Kid Rock to Release Cocky November 20
October 19, 2001 Kid Rock's follow-up to 1998's ten-million-selling Devil Without a Cause is due in stores November 20th.
"Forever," the first single from Cocky, is set to hit radio nationwide October 22nd. A companion video clip is currently in production.
Recorded in Detroit at Kid Rock's Clarkston Chophouse studio,
Cocky includes "Forever," "What I Learned Out on the Road," and "Lonely Road of Faith." The self-produced collection features backing from Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker band, along with special guest shots from Sheryl Crow and Snoop Dogg.
Cocky is Kid Rock's third label release, following last year's RIAA triple-platinum certified
The History of Rock, and 1998's mega-successful Devil Without a Cause, which earned
the RIAA's Diamond Award for U.S. sales in excess of ten million copies and featured hits such as "Bawitdaba," "Cowboy," "Only God Knows Why," and "American Bad Ass."
