Mudvayne Second Studio Album in Stores Nov. 19

Headlining Tour and Video to Follow

September 25, 2002 — Mudvayne are proud to announce The End of All Things to Come, the follow-up album to the band's RIAA gold-certified debut L.D. 50. The twelve-track album, produced by David Bottrill (Tool, Peter Gabriel, King Crimson), is set to hit stores November 19. Mudvayne are currently planning an upcoming fall tour and working on the music video for the first single, "Not Falling."

The Math Metal quartet -- Kud (vocals), Gurrg (guitars), Spag (drums) and Ryknow (bass) -- continues to evolve and transform its music and look to what is expected to be a portrayal of neo-sci fi aliens, to be revealed soon. Along with the evolution comes alterations in their stage names: Kud has become Chud, Gurrg has become Guug, Spag has become Spug and Ryknow is now Ru-D.

The band entered Pachyderm studios (Nirvana In Utero)in Minneapolis this summer, with producer David Bottrill. They worked against the clock to complete The End of All Things to Come. Mudvayne, who coined the term Math Metal, use a numerical approach to writing and structuring their music, creating unique time signatures and patterns in their songs. With Bottrill behind the knobs, The End of All Things to Come features the strongest and most sophisticated Mudvayne sound to date.

Mudvayne, the Math Metal foursome, hail from Peoria, Illinois, won the first ever MTV2 Video Award at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. The award represented the culmination of Mudvayne's fan appreciation and success of their first single, "Dig." Mudvayne's debut L.D. 50 was certified gold and their re-issue of the out-of-print 1997 EP, The Beginning of All Things to End, formerly known as Kill I Oughtta, has sold over 100,000 copies. The EP includes interludes from ML.D. 50 plus bonus remixes of Dig by Front Line Assembly's Rhys Fulber. Mudvayne's first full-length DVD, L(ive) D(osage) -- Live in Peoria, along with their DVD single, "Dig," have also been certified gold.
