September 10, 2002 — Lou Barlow has signed his Folk Implosion group to iMUSIC. Barlow, along with Folk Implosion members Russell Pollard (Sebadoh) on drums and Imaad Wasif (Alaska and Folk Implosion) on guitar, have been in the studio with Aaron Espinoza (Earlimart, Grandaddy), Mickey Petralia (Beck, Eels, Luscious Jackson), and Wally Gagel (Eels, Folk Implosion, Sebadoh, Juliana Hatfield) who are all producing tracks. The CD, as yet untitled, is expected out in early 2003.

The last Folk Implosion release, One Part Lullaby, was released in 1999 on Interscope.

Barlow has just released a brand-new Sentridoh CD titled Free Sentridoh Songs from Loobiecore, and will launch a fall tour (dates below) to support it. Fans can expect Lou to perform Folk Implosion, Sebadoh, and Sentridoh songs, playing solo acoustic as well as with help from the other musicians on the bill.
