September 15, 2000 – From the rough and tumble streets of Philadelphia, Tidewater Grain have emerged on the scene with a new album and a fresh attitude. Here on the Outside (Ruffnation/Warner Bros.) is basic, hard-hitting rock 'n' roll. No punches, no frills and no whining. Set to launch their tour, Tidewater head west to begin a string of dates which include performing with renown rocker, Alice Cooper.

Unlike many of modern rock radio darlings, Tidewater Grain don't wear masks and matching jump suits, rap, or employ a DJ to grab attention at their live shows. They don't need one. It is on the reputation of their frenzied live performances that Tidewater have played with acts as diverse as Sevendust, Three Doors Down, Kid Rock, Gwar, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock and now Alice Cooper.

Here on the Outside (Ruffnation/Warner), Tidewater Grain's debut album released September 12th is chock full of energetic, anthemic rockers like the title track, and reflective power ballads like "Rocketship."

Featuring frontman Kevin McNamara, guitarists John Daly and DL, bassist Dave Fritz and drummer James Billington, Tidewater Grain serve more than just a dose of down 'n' dirty rock 'n' roll. About the upcoming tour and recent album release McNamara says "We look forward to the opportunity to kick some ass around the country, musically that is."
