Korn Fall Tour Dates with Disturbed and TrustCompany

Korn Offer $10 Ticket Discount to Teenagers

August 31, 2002 — In support of their Untouchables album, Korn are currently criss-crossing Europe, performing at shows and festivals with some 500,000-plus audience members. Soon they will return to America -- and tickets for twelve of the shows on Korn's fall U.S. tour go on sale the weekend of September 6.

The U.S. tour includes special guests Disturbed and Trust Company. Disturbed's new single "Prayer" -- from the forthcoming Believe album, due out September 17 -- is currently in rotation at rock and alternative radio, while Trust Company's debut LP The Lonely Position of Neutral sold more than 80,000 copies in its first week of release.

Korn will use a new set design, different from the "in the round end stage" which they utilized on their summer U.S. tour. Video screens projecting footage courtesy of video director and longtime Korn friend/collaborator Nathan "Karma" Cox, will be set up behind the group and a new lighting arrangement will be employed.

"It's not as elaborate as the other one," said Korn lead singer Jonathan Davis. "We're making it more about the band than the huge light shows and all that other stuff. Overall, we like it a lot better."

In an effort to ensure that fans of all ages will be able to catch the band live, Korn -- Jonathan, Munky, Head, Fieldy and David -- have created a special ticket discount for their fans under the age of 20. A certain number of tickets at each venue will be available with the $10 off discount to teenagers.

"We just think that right now, because the economy is so screwed, kids are getting it the worst," said Davis. "And we know that there aren't that many parents buying Korn tickets for kids right now, so we wanted to do something for our younger fans."
