August 1, 2002 — Henkel Consumer Adhesives, Inc. announces its first annual Duck brand Duct Tape "Rock About the Roll" contest. The company is searching for a new jingle and is offering prizes up to $2,500 in cash for the best one. For the contest, entrants are asked to write and compose original music and lyrics that incorporate Duck brand duct tape.

The Duck brand Duct Tape "Rock About the Roll" contest will award the following cash prizes. Winners will be chosen based on a number of criteria including music skill, originality of lyrics and references to duct tape in the lyrics:

• 1st place winner will receive $2,500 cash.
• 2nd place winner will receive $1,000 cash.
• 3rd place winner will receive $500 cash.

HOW TO ENTER:
The contest begins September 30, 2002. Registration form and contest rules can be found at www.ducktapeclub.com. Contest participants must submit a song about duct tape with original lyrics and music along with a photograph of the entrant(s).

The winners will be determined by a panel of judges selected by Henkel Consumer Adhesives, Inc. Photos and music entries must be received by December 2, 2002. Winners will be notified on or about December 20, 2002. Winners will be announced to the media and will be posted on the website on or about December 27, 2002.
