July 23, 2001 – Tickets for Michael Jackson's Set for Sept. 7 and Sept. 10 tribute shows at New York's Madison Square Garden will be priced far above the range most fans are accustomed to, with the best seats in the house carrying a $2,500 price tag.

While stressing that they have every intention to take part in the show, Jermaine and Randy Jackson say they have not yet signed contracts guaranteeing their participation, even though the show is scheduled to include a reunion of Michael with his brothers, who have not performed together since they toured as the Jacksons in 1984.

Titled "Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration, the Solo Years," the show will feature performances by Britney Spears, 'N Sync, Ray Charles, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Ricky Martin, Shaggy, Gloria Estefen, Mary J. Blige, Gladys Knight, Luther Vandross and Billy Gilman. The performances will be filmed for a CBS Special tentatively scheduled to air in October.
