July 5, 2001 – In preparation for the release of Iowa this summer (exact date TBA) on Roadrunner Records, Slipknot have announced the final track listing for the album. While a few song titles have changed -- "Heretic Song" is now "The Heretic Anthem" and "Lust Disease" has been renamed "Left Behind" -- Slipknot have also added the song "I Am Hated" to the album. "I Am Hated" will be featured in the forthcoming Rollerball movie, in which the band will also appear in a live scenario.

Slipknot -- DJ Sid Wilson, drummer Joey Jordison, bassist Paul Gray, percussionist Chris Fehn, guitarist James Root, sampler Craig Jones, percussionist Crahan, guitarist Mick Thompson and lead singer Corey Taylor (also known as 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, respectively) -- recently gave the world a preview of "The Heretic Anthem" by offering an MP3 download of the song through the Roadrunner Records website. In the first second that the download was available, there were over 1,000 connections. The frenzy continued, with the site receiving over 50,000 hits in its first hour. A total of approximately 75,000 Slipknot "maggots" successfully downloaded the then called, "Heretic Song" which is now titled, "The Heretic Anthem".

Fans who missed the "The Heretic Anthem" download opportunity can still hear Slipknot preview new songs on their in-progress Ozzfest dates which wrap up August 12 in New York. They're also headlining dates with Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed and Mudvayne in various cities on the off-days during the Ozzfest tour. Fans in Europe received an early taste of Slipknot's live show when they performed with Ozzfest at the Milton Keynes Bowl last month.
