June 26, 2002 — Aerosmith will head out on tour this summer in support of their upcoming release, the two-album greatest-hits collection, O, Yeah! Ultimate Aerosmith Hits (which includes two new tracks). It will be available with four different 3-D album covers. For more info on the CD set, including the track listing, click here.

Aerosmith wrapped their last tour, an eight-month outing in North America and Japan, in early February 2002.

Kid Rock just finished a tour in support of his latest platinum album, Cocky. He and his Twisted Brown Trucker Band will team up with fellow American bad asses Aerosmith for the month-long tour of North America. The itinerary -- which will also feature the legendary rappers Run-DMC -- is slated to begin in Holmdel, New Jersey on August 13th and end on September 14th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The tour will include three shows in Boston, two in New York, as well as dates in Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, and other major cities (see dates below).

Kid Rock has just unveiled a hilarious new video for the latest single from Cocky, "You Never Met a Motherf**cker Quite Like Me." Directed by Robert Hales, the video features special appearances by Kid Rock's fiancée Pamela Anderson and Hank Williams Jr. (plus a cameo role by "The General Lee," the 1969 Dodge Charger from the Dukes of Hazzard TV series). The video shows Kid Rock "at home" in the suburbs -- where he goes about daily chores while surrounded by inescapable images of his own celebrity. He bares all in a Radiohead toilet-paper scene, climbs up on the roof to fix the satellite dish, mows the lawn, shops at the corner store -- while Pam applies toe polish and hangs her laundry out to dry.

Kid Rock and the Twisted Brown Trucker band -- which also features multi-platinum artist Uncle Kracker -- hit the road in February for a cross-country tour in support of Cocky, including his first-ever performance at New York's Madison Square Garden.
