Tommy Lee Takes Alien Ant Farm's Slot at the Rolling Rock Town Fair
June 17, 2002 "Girls, Girls, Girls" and boys listen up. Tommy Lee has just been added to the lineup for this
year's Rolling Rock Town Fair 3.3 in Western Pennsylvania, July 27, 2002. Lee is replacing
Alien Ant Farm after they were forced to cancel all of their summer appearances due to a tragic bus accident on May 22nd in Caceres, Spain, which took the life of their bus driver and caused serious injuries to the band members.
Lee stepped in to fill the spot left open by Alien Ant Farm. His aptly
named new album, Never a Dull Moment, was released last month and went
straight to the Billboard Top 100 where it has remained ever since. Never a
Dull Moment is Tommy Lee's first venture into solo-album territory and has
yielded the highest charting single of his career with "Hold Me Down".
This year's lineup at the Rolling Rock Town Fair also includes Godsmack,
Outkast, Nickelback, P.O.D., Sevendust, Default, and Injected.
Adding to the fun, the festival includes town-fair
attractions like magicians, interactive games, stilt walkers and watermelon
eating contests.
