The Vines Summer Tour Dates
Performances Include Conan O'Brien and Letterman Appearances
June 6, 2002 Australian rockers the Vines will embark on a headlining North American tour beginning July 10th in
support of their debut album, Highly Evolved, which hits stores July 16th (see below for complete list of tour dates). The Roman Coppola-directed video for lead single "Get Free" has just been named "Buzzworthy" on MTV, MTV2 and MTV.com as the song gains radio airplay across America.
The group will take to the road for an extensive North American tour that will include appearances on MTV's Live from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (July 9), Late Night with Conan O'Brien (July 16) and the Late Show with David Letterman (August 19).
The Vines will also play summer radio festivals including 91X/San Diego's "X Fest"
June 8, Live 105/SF's "BFD" June 14, and KROQ/LA's "Weenie Roast" June 15. They recently played
WHFS/D.C.'s "HFStival."
