Dave Matthews Band and Al Green Join All Star Line Up for "All Access" Presented by Certs(R), an Imax(R) Concert Film

Dates for Sheryl Crow and Sting Live Performances Also Confirmed

June 28, 2000 – Ideal Entertainment, Imax Corporation and CERTS(R) announced that a live performance by Dave Matthews Band, in a duet with the legendary Al Green, June 30, 2000 at Chicago's Soldier Field, has been added to the stellar line up of live performances by Grammy-winning rock acts for "All Access" presented by CERTS(R), a large-format rock concert film that will premiere in IMAX(R) theatres next Spring.

Also confirmed for the film are Sheryl Crow, (Grammy winner for Best Female Rock Vocal), Sting, (Grammy winner for Best Pop Album and Male Pop Vocal Performance), and Cheb Mami. Filming of Sting and Mami took place last in concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey and Ms. Crow will be filmed tonight at Sony Music Studios Instrument Rental Rehearsal Stage in New York City.

"All Access" presented by CERTS(R), will also feature live performances by rock superstars such as mega Grammy-winner Carlos Santana, Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20, George Clinton, Mary J. Blige, B.B. King, Trey Anastasio from Phish, Moby, Kid Rock, The Roots and Macy Gray. These artists were filmed at the Grand Olympic Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles last February before a live audience in the days surrounding the 2000 Grammy Awards ceremonies.

Cumulatively, the acts already signed for the film garnered 13 Grammy Awards this year, including the record-tying eight wins by Carlos Santana for Best Record Album, Rock Album and Song of the Year. Additional Grammy Awards went to B.B. King (Best Traditional Blues Album) and The Roots (Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group).

In addition to a front row seat and spectacular larger-than-life performances, the film will provide exactly what its title suggests, a rare "All Access pass" to the backstage madness, rehearsals, sound checks, casual conversations and musical collaborations that lie behind the scenes of every great concert, but that the average person never gets to see. By interspersing these impromptu events in brief, carefully chosen segues between performances, "All Access" presented by CERTS(R) will reveal an insider's view of rock 'n' roll as well as pay homage to the music's incredible power and spirit in IMAX theatres, with screens eight stories high and with one of the world's best sound systems.

Producers Jon and Peter Shapiro point out that: "While the diversity of artists in 'All Access' presented by CERTS(R) makes for the ultimate concert, being able to put audiences backstage and up close to the action gives them a connection to the performers and their music that would otherwise be impossible."

"All Access" presented by CERTS(R), directed by Martyn Atkins and produced by Jon and Peter Shapiro for Ideal Entertainment, will be distributed by Imax Ltd.

Ideal Entertainment produces mainstream entertainment for motion pictures, TV, music, merchandising and the Internet. Principal Jon Shapiro was executive producer of the $200 million grossing film, "Richie Rich," starring Macaulay Culkin, for Warner Bros., and is Producer of Universal Pictures' forthcoming "Curious George," a live-action feature based on the classic children's books.
