May 30, 2002 – Neo-soul pioneer Joi is taking her show on the road. Off the strength of her return to music as a solo artist, the avant-garde singer/songwriter will join label-mate and former Lucy Pearl front-man Raphael Saadiq on a promotional tour.

Joi's album, Star Kitty's Revenge, was released in March to rave reviews. "Missing You," is the lead song from the 19-track album, which features collaborations with Saadiq (Whitney Houston, Tony Toni Tone, Angie Stone), Andre Betts (Madonna, Living Colour), and Sleepy Brown (Outkast, Organized Noise), among others.
