Dee Dee Ramone to Release New CD

Punk rock legend Dee Dee Ramone will release a new CD this fall on Heat Slick Records. The as-yet untitled album will be a live recording from Dee Dee's June 14, 2002 show at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA. The record will be
produced by Gilby Clarke, former guitarist of Guns 'n Roses.
Since leaving the seminal punk rock band the Ramones in 1989, Dee Dee has
been working extensively with music, art, film, and literature. He has written two books, the novel Chelsea Horror Hotel and the autobiography Lobotomy.
Dee Dee's last CD, Greatest and Latest (Conspiracy Music,
2000), did well in American and foreign markets. And most notably, in 2002, Dee Dee Ramone was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The new CD will feature Dee Dee playing classic Ramones songs along with
some original tracks. Dee Dee Ramone will be touring in the
summer of 2002 (see dates below). Tentative release date for CD is October 14, 2002.
