Oasis U.S. Tour Set For August
New Album Set for July 2nd Release

Heathen Chemistry, Oasis' fifth studio album, will be released July
2, 2002. The album was produced by Oasis and mixed by Mark "Spike"
Stent (Bjork, Madonna, U2), who previously co-produced the band's
last studio recording, 2000's Standing on the Shoulder of Giants.
Heathen Chemistry features eleven new songs by the brothers Gallagher along with contributions from two of the band's newer members, guitarist Gem Archer and
bassist Andy Bell. In addition to the first US single "Stop Crying
Your Heart Out," Heathen Chemistry features "Songbird" by Liam
Gallagher, "Hung In A Bad Place" by Gem Archer and "Force of Nature,"
written and sung by Noel Gallagher and recently featured in the
British film Love, Honor and Obey.

The first leg of Oasis US tour will begin August 2 in Pompano Beach,
Fla and run through August 21 in Detroit, MI. Leg two of the Heathen
Chemistry US tour is tentatively set for November 2002.
