Crosby, Stills and Nash Hit the Road in August for a Major Summer Concert Tour

Graham Nash Shows His Photographic Work at Brooklyn's Howard Schickler Gallery, Opening May 24th

May 22, 2001 – This summer, Crosby, Stills and Nash embark on a domestic tour kicking off August 13th at Detroit's DTE Energy Music Theatre (formerly Pine Knob), with more than two-dozen dates at major sheds, theatres and amphitheaters that run through late September.

When the threesome formed in 1968, each member came to the new venture from their own hugely popular bands -- Crosby from the Byrds, Nash from the Hollies, and Stills from Buffalo Springfield. The music they made together more than did great justice to the sum of its remarkable parts, instantly establishing Crosby, Stills and Nash as a truly era-defining act.

Catch them on the road and re-live the magic:

Graham Nash Shows His Photographic Work At Brooklyn's Howard Schickler Gallery, Opening May 24th

Graham Nash is most well known for his phenomenal music career, as a founding member of the Hollies, and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and as a solo artist. He has been involved with some of the most influential music and humanitarian events of the last four decades. Graham Nash is an equally gifted fine art photographer, and his "New York Portfolio" has its inaugural exhibition at Howard Schickler Gallery in Brooklyn, New York, opening May 24, 2001 from 7 - 9 PM. The show will run through July 20.

Nash's "New York Portfolio," which encompasses twelve striking black and white images, will be both hung and displayed in portfolio format at the Schickler gallery.

Of his Gotham-themed "New York Portfolio" Nash says, "New York City is a wonderful place of chaotic extremes. You can find the deepest peace, overwhelming beauty, and the ugliness of the human experience gathered in the same moment. My work relates to that unrelenting quality of urban eccentricity."
