May 31, 2000 – Rocker Tommy Lee was ordered last Friday to spend five days in Los Angeles County jail because of a parole violation. Executives at Lee's record label, MCA, state that Lee's estranged wife, Pamela Anderson Lee, of her own volition, contacted the District Attorney's office on May 5th to inform them that her husband and she shared a glass of champagne last New Year's Eve.

As a result of this parole violation, Tommy spent the weekend at the L.A. County jail. Lee is eager to cooperate with the court's rulings and will continue to abide by the rules of his probation. Not once since Lee had submitted himself to court-ordered testing, has he ever tested positive for drugs or alcohol.

MCA Records also reports that these legal developments will not in any way interfere with Tommy Lee's summer tour itinerary with his band, Methods of Mayhem on Ozzfest 2000, or his upcoming European dates.
