Tommy Lee Faces Jail for Boozing
May 10, 2000 Tommy Lee Jones is facing three years of jail after fresh allegations that he has been caught drinking alcohol.
The Motley Crue rocker, whose relationship with Pamela Anderson is now off-again, has been ordered to appear for probation revocation in a Los Angeles court later this month, May 31, 2000.
Spokesperson for the LA District Attorney's office Sandi Gibbons says, "There have been allegations that he has been drinking. I am not saying who reported it, but people may be surprised when he goes to court later this month."
Lee attended a similar hearing last year in March 1999 but the judge at the time ruled there was not enough evidence to back up the claim. Jones's probation rules the singer must attend anger management classes and counseling, do community service and avoid alcohol. He was released from jail in September 1998.
