Sevendust Headline the Cutty Rock the Boat Tour

35-City Tour Also Includes Reveille, Soil, and Breaking Point

April 11, 2002

On Wednesday, April 3, 2002 Cutty Whisky kicked off its fourth annual spring Cutty Rock the Boat Concert Tour in Plainview, NY. The Cutty tour will hit more than 35 cities in the next two months. It features headlining band Sevendust, a hard-playing, hard-rocking band from Atlanta, GA. Bands Reveille, Soil and Breaking Point will join Sevendust at different times on the tour.

One of heavy rock's best live bands, Sevendust are currently supporting their third album, Animosity. The new work shows Sevendust can retain their trademark heaviness and rhythm while incorporating even more melody and harmony than on their previous works. Godsmack's Sully Erna said of the new album, "Once again Sevendust has delivered a record that everyone should be paying attention to." Another notable fan is Staind's Aaron Lewis, who makes a guest appearance on "Animosity."

Marty Fettig, Skyy Spirits' VP of Marketing - Import Brands says of the tour, "For the fourth year in a row, Cutty delivers what guys are looking for -- 'Booze, Babes and Bands' -- to thousands of fans in great cities across the U.S."

Opening bands for this tour include:

* REVEILLE - Massachusetts rockers Reveille are fueled by their current single, "Inside Out (Can You Feel Me Now)."

* SOIL - Metal Edge Magazine calls Soil's J Records debut album Scars "the heavy metal record mainstream America has been waiting more than a decade for ... Soil should set the standard for years to come."

* BREAKING POINT - This Memphis-based quartet are riding high with hit "One of a Kind" which happens to be WWF wrestler Rob Van Dam's theme song.

Following the bands in their own tour bus are the famed Cutty Girls who help fans "rock the boat" in the hottest uniforms around. The Girls provide audience giveaways of free Cutty baseball T's, visors and tattoos while promoting the cool Cutty drink-of-the-night for those of legal drinking age. At each tour venue, fans can also pick up an entry form to win Cutty's Party Like a Rock Star sweepstakes, earning them a trip to LA and the Playboy Mansion to party with Playmates.

During this concert tour, web partner Sex & Rock 'N Roll will be on-hand taping a four-part video series that will feature band interviews, concert footage and some behind-the-scenes peeks at what the Cutty Girls really do on their bus.

2002 marks the fourth year for the Cutty Rock the Boat Tour, which debuted in 1999 with Godsmack, featured 3 Doors Down in 2000, Our Lady Peace in the Spring 2001 and COLD in Fall 2001.
