Drag-On Emerges with #1 Debut CD on Billboard's Rap Charts
April 6, 2000 Ruff Ryders/Interscope Records are pleased to announce that 20-year-old rapper Drag-On's CD garnered the #1 debut on Billboard's Rap Charts and the #5 debut on Billboard's Top 200 Album Charts. Drag-On's CD Opposite of H2O sold an impressive 150,738 units its first week according to Soundscan.
Opposite of H2O came with a buzz for the new artist. Stemming from the success of his guest appearances on DMX's three multi-platinum albums, Eve's debut platinum album, and his singles "Down Bottom" off the platinum-plus Ruff Ryder's compilation album Ryde or Die Vol. 1, "Spit These Bars" and the current single off the debut CD, "Die 4 Me."
Drag-On is about to finish his run on the Cash Money/Ruff Ryder tour April 17th in Irvine, CA and will release his second single in the next couple of weeks.
