New Neil Young Album Previewed on Internet

March 12, 2002 — Are You Passionate?, Neil Young's new release, featuring eleven new original studio tracks from the legendary artist, will be made available on a wide variety of Internet sites beginning March 12th and continuing through April 9th (the album's in-store release date).

Are You Passionate? can be heard in its entirety on selected Internet radio stations, music sites and Neil Young fan, newsgroup and club sites, with a pop-up player being made available to preview the album. A download of the album's first single, "Goin' Home," will also be made available. Additionally, online retailers will offer audio streaming of the album for anyone who pre-orders Are You Passionate? and will continue the service to those customers until their orders are received.

Are You Passionate? features Neil Young backed by a supporting line-up that includes Booker T & the MG's stalwarts Booker T. Jones (keyboards), Donald "Duck" Dunn (bass) and Steve "Smokey" Potts (drums) as well as Frank "Poncho" Sampedro, guitarist for Neil Young's long-time backing band, Crazy Horse. The entire Crazy Horse line-up is heard on "Goin Home." The album also includes the Neil Young originals "You're My Girl," "Mr. Disappointment," "Differently," "Don't Say You Love Me," "When I Hold You In My Arms," "Be With You," "Two Old Friends," "She's a Healer," the title track, and "Let's Roll," the artist's tribute to the heroes of 9/11.
