Joni Mitchell Announces Tour Dates with Full Orchestra
Singer Also To Appear on "The Late Show With David Letterman," "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and To Be
Honored at TNT Tribute
March 31, 2000 Singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell, whose 21st album, Both Sides Now
(Reprise Records), was released March 21st, has announced a 12-date U.S. tour to be backed by a
full orchestra in every city (see dates below).
Mitchell will also perform with an orchestra on "The Late Show with David Letterman" Monday, April
3rd; be a featured guest on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" Monday, April 10th; and be honored at a TNT
Series Master Tribute titled "An All-star Tribute to Joni Mitchell" airing on TNT Sunday, April
16th. The tribute will feature artists Elton John, K.D. Lang, Shawn Colvin, Diana Krall, Chaka
Khan, Wynonna Judd, Richard Thompson, Bryan Adams, Cassandra Wilson and more performing their
favorite Mitchell-penned songs, with Mitchell also performing at the show.
