Godsmack's 'I Stand Alone' No. 1 Most Added Song in the Country
Song Is the First Single from The Scorpion King Soundtrack

Godsmack's new single, "I Stand Alone," is the number-one most-added song at Active, Mainstream and Modern rock radio. The new track is the lead single from The Scorpion King soundtrack.
Music From and Inspired by The Scorpion King will be available in
stores nationwide March 26. It features 16 tracks from artists such as Creed, System of a Down, Nickelback, Sevendust, Drowning Pool, Coal Chamber, Hoobastank, Mushroomhead, Flaw, Rob Zombie (featuring Ozzy Osbourne), and a remix of P.O.D.'s "Set It Off."
MTV's "Making of the Video" for Godsmack's "I Stand Alone," which includes a
special appearance by "The Rock," will premiere on MTV, March 3 at 8:00 pm.
Recently, the multi-platinum-selling rockers swept the Boston Music
Awards with six nominations in categories such as Act of the Year,
Rock Band of the Year, Single of the Year ("Greed"), Male Vocalist of the Year
(Sully Erna), Song of the Year ("Greed" written by Erna) and Video of the Year
("Greed"), from their latest release, Awake, which debuted at #5 on
Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and has sold more than two million albums.
The band also received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rock
Instrumental Performance for their song "Vampires" from Awake.
The Scorpion King is the third installment of the popular The Mummy
series, and features "The Rock" (Dwayne Johnson), Michael Clarke Duncan and
Kelly Hu. The film was directed by Chuck Russell and will open nationwide April 19.
