Flickerstick Gear Up to Hit the Road
New York Show Originally Set For September 11 Rescheduled For January 16
January 8, 2002 After a successful two-month tour across the U.S. late last year, Flickerstick have announced plans for a headlining tour beginning January 26 in New Orleans (see below for current itinerary). Just prior to the kick-off of the tour, Flickerstick will perform a special show in New York on January 16; originally scheduled for September 11.
Best known from VH1's reality TV show "Bands on the Run," this Texas-based quintet is touring in support of their newly re-mastered album Welcoming Home the Astronauts, released November 6. Their second single "Coke" will be hitting airwaves this month. It follows the their first hit single, "Beautiful."
Flickerstick are Brandin Lea (vocals), Fletcher Lea (guitar), Cory Kreig (guitar), Rex Ewing (bass) and Dominic Weir (drums).
